Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to support our operations across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess electrical qualifications and experience in mobile technology.

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm
  • Fieldwork primarily in Surrey and London

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting scheduled maintenance on mobile systems and equipment
  • Addressing urgent repair tasks as assigned
  • Performing inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
  • Ensuring compliance with quality assurance protocols and maintaining thorough documentation related to electrical maintenance
  • Responding promptly to all mobile-related maintenance requests
  • Coordinating initial responses to client inquiries
  • Assisting in the management of specialist subcontractors for mobile system maintenance.
  • Handling emergency call-outs and breakdowns related to mobile services
  • Completing tasks in line with established service standards
  • Utilizing electronic devices for job documentation
  • Maintaining accurate site records and logs
  • Performing general upkeep to extend the lifespan of all equipment
  • Implementing strategies to minimize energy usage on client sites and suggesting enhancements
  • Adhering to health, safety, compliance, and local regulations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through various communication channels

Required Qualifications and Experience

Essential

· City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent qualifications.

· 18th Edition I.E.E Registration or equivalent; or

· Health and Safety Training.

· Proven experience in maintenance roles, including fault diagnosis and resolution.

· Familiarity with electrical maintenance within building management systems.

· Experience in electrical installation, testing, and inspection.

· Knowledge of High Voltage operations.

· Solid mechanical understanding.

· C&G in a Mechanical discipline or equivalent (e.g., NVQ).

· Understanding of air handling units, fan coil units, air conditioning systems, pumps, motors, plumbing, and drainage systems.

· Comprehension of critical and non-critical systems.

Desirable

· City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent.

· Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship in the building maintenance sector.

· Experience with computerized PPM management systems.

· Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
