Job Summary

Testronic is seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) Game Tester with expertise in the German language to join our team. As an LQA Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of game translations, subtitles, and audio content in German.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on game translations, subtitles, and audio content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
  • Identify and report any errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in game content, including translation errors, spelling mistakes, and cultural inaccuracies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including localization, development, and testing, to ensure seamless game delivery.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of game content, including game mechanics, storylines, and cultural nuances.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in game localization and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in German (C2 level) and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game mechanics, storylines, and cultural nuances.
  • Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.
