HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, with a portion of time spent on-site

Opportunity Highlights

We are in search of a dedicated and innovative Cybersecurity Solutions Architect who possesses a blend of advanced technical expertise and robust security acumen to propel our organization’s security initiatives forward.

In this role, you will collaborate with our Chief Security Office (CSO) Platform Teams, contributing to the formulation of solution architecture and design that not only fosters opportunities for digital transformation but also enhances customer experiences and business results. Your efforts will align with our strategic objectives to streamline and redefine our technological framework.

The CSO plays a crucial role in actualizing our vision of prioritizing customer needs, safeguarding both the organization and its clients from security vulnerabilities. We are tasked with establishing and disseminating our security strategy while providing essential Enterprise Security Services that maintain the integrity of our operations and support the broader digital transformation agenda.

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, your role will be pivotal in crafting solutions that deliver ongoing value to our clientele. Your input will be vital to our mission of simplifying, modernizing, and mitigating risks within our technological landscape, ensuring benefits for both customers and stakeholders. This position is essential for the long-term viability and integrity of our organization.

  • You will engage with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineers to establish the architectural framework for our CSO Platform teams. Once established, our Solutions Architects will continuously refine the architecture that supports our Platform teams. You will also collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to develop solutions, their interfaces, and validate technological assumptions, while assessing implementation alternatives and lifecycle risks.
  • You will approach business and technical challenges from various angles to create comprehensive end-to-end solution designs that are not only technically robust but also consider regulatory, commercial, and organizational factors when necessary. It is essential to foster a collaborative 'one-team' mindset.
  • Customer-centricity will be at the heart of your decision-making. You will leverage industry best practices, frameworks, standards, and policies to generate opportunities and value for our customers, ensuring their needs are met. Additionally, you will gather requirements, shape, and validate designs or prototypes that align with our target architecture.
  • As a subject matter expert (or aspiring to become one), you will establish guiding principles and success criteria for platform capabilities, ensuring oversight and advocating for quality, modular, and modern architectures.
  • You will assist Product Owners and Platform Leads in identifying, articulating, and assessing risks or issues related to software and infrastructure. You will confidently present options and recommendations for action planning and continuously enhance solutions within the Platform.
  • With a passion for architecture, you will promote the architectural discipline through mentoring, coaching, and active participation in Agile ceremonies.

Candidate Requirements

We seek a Solutions Architect who comprehends the complexities of contemporary architecture. You will develop a compelling strategic vision and understand a wide range of technological implications, including human and procedural aspects, which will inform your comprehensive design perspective.

Ideally, you will have prior experience in software or infrastructure engineering, positioning you well to articulate and advocate for your vision among Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners.

Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to engage effectively with a diverse range of technical and non-technical colleagues. You should be capable of producing high-quality documentation tailored to various audiences, including senior stakeholders. Given the demanding nature of this role, self-organization and proactive time management are crucial.

We are looking for candidates who possess some of the following experiences:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for leveraging insights to create customer and business value.
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary product, feature, or platform teams.
  • Established background in systems engineering or solution architecture, with an appreciation for software engineering methodologies such as Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in visual storytelling and data presentation, allowing you to convey complex messages in an accessible manner. You should be adept at distilling intricate information into clear formats, both in writing and verbally, to influence stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Proven experience collaborating with other professionals, such as Enterprise, Security, Data, and Infrastructure architects, to generate customer value or address business challenges.
  • Proficient experience leading activities related to Architectural Governance, Risk Management, or Compliance processes.
