As a Credit Risk Internal Audit Manager at CV Library, you will play a key role in providing independent assurance over wholesale credit risk management processes and controls across the Bank's credit portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide quality, efficient, and effective assurance and influence business and risk managers to improve controls.
- Lead and coach the team as they deliver audit engagements, ensuring they are delivered to budget and on time, while helping them to realise their potential.
- Leverage industry-leading audit methodology and tools.
- Manage key stakeholders throughout audit engagements, ensuring a good understanding of business risks and an open and effective discussion on key risks.
- A strong background in managing and/or auditing wholesale credit risk processes and controls through the credit lifecycle, including credit risk sanctioning (underwriting), portfolio management, and workout (restructuring).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dynamically assess and analyse both structured and unstructured data.
- A thorough understanding of key regulations, including CRR and IFRS 9.
- A relevant quantitative degree and/or professional qualification, such as CFA or FRM.
- Ability to demonstrate leading a team in delivering projects in an Agile way, while keeping a firm hand on budget, schedule, and quality.
- Ability to support and supervise a team through coaching, feedback, and development, with a proactive approach towards identifying and promoting talent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
