Join Our Cleaning Team at Ever Brite Cleaning Services

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team at Ever Brite Cleaning Services. As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean classrooms and common areas to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, refilling dispensers, and maintaining clean and polished floors.
  • Remove litter and keep entryways and walkways clear of debris.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects during school breaks.
  • Uphold health and safety standards and follow protocols.
  • Work closely with other school staff and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Benefits:
  • Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 4pm - 8pm.
  • No weekend or bank holiday work, unless occasional overtime is desired.
  • Between 15 & 30 hours per week during term time.
  • Uniform and PPE provided.
  • Statutory sick pay, depending on hours worked.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is ideal.
  • Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Understanding of COSHH and Risk Assessments (training will be provided).
  • Stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.
  • Strong understanding of both verbal and written English.
  • Willingness to have and/or apply for an Enhanced DBS with Child Barring (an essential requirement).
