Lead Ruby Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Ruby Engineer to join our team at Formula Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Ruby-based applications and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of our Ruby-based applications
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby code, following best practices and engineering standards
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure alignment between business and engineering objectives
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ruby and Ruby on Rails developments, and implement new technologies and tools as needed

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience building products with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • Strong understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Ability to provide line management and hands-on technical leadership
  • Advocate of engineering best practices when it comes to development, security, and accessibility
