About the Role:

Fernways School is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified SEN Teacher who holds QTS and has a proven track record of delivering effective teaching and learning strategies. You will have a strong ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and be committed to meeting the individual needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students with SEND and ASC
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions and progress
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEND and ASC
