Job Title: Research Portfolio Manager

Are you passionate about research and innovation? Do you have a strong background in research and a keen interest in working with stakeholders to support excellent research that delivers real impact for the economy and society?

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Portfolio Manager to join our team at UK Research and Innovation. As a Research Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of research activities and build relationships with stakeholders within universities and industry to ensure we fund research of the highest quality.

About the Role

The Research Portfolio Manager will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the development and delivery of research activities and building relationships with stakeholders within universities and industry
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on activities and investments to feed into planning
  • Supporting senior colleagues with the development of projects and implementation of plans, coordinating and operating processes supporting delivery across EPSRC
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate (or equivalent) degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize and manage complex activities
  • A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
