About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Kinetech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of services and infrastructure, encompassing both on-premise and Azure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage on-premise servers (Windows), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure, including regular maintenance such as patching and updates
  • Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, including migration of end-of-life servers to the cloud, selecting and implementing a new disaster recovery solution, and enhancing security posture
  • Report on infrastructure performance, incidents, and improvements
Requirements
  • Wide infrastructure engineering experience with demonstrable experience in physical servers (2012-2019, Windows), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud (Azure)
  • Demonstrable experience with implementation of and backup maintenance (Veeam)
  • Experience with on-prem data center maintenance and management
  • Demonstrable Azure management (VMs, NSG rules, storage accounts, etc.) to effectively contribute to the gradual migration of our environments to the cloud
  • DR implementation and regular testing
  • Hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades
  • Some networking experience desirable in configuring and maintaining network devices such as firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA), switches, WiFi, and routers
