About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Professional to join our team at OmegaFlex. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry partners
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product demonstrations and training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions
  • Manage sales performance and ensure achievement of sales targets
Requirements
  • Proven technical experience and in-depth knowledge within the medical, healthcare or related industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of sales within the medical, healthcare or related industry
  • Proven sales management experience, including negotiation, managing pricing and margins
  • Numerate experience of budget/forecasting/financial acumen
  • Proven commercial awareness, industry and up-to-date process and product knowledge
  • Proven background stakeholder management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Honed presentation skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations to a varied audience
  • Commercial experience and skilled in delivering customer solutions which meet target metrics
Desirable Qualifications
  • HND in Science or Engineering, or Science or Engineering degree or suitable postgraduate management training certificate, diploma or higher qualification, ideally in Science or Engineering
  • A network of contacts and decision makers in the medical field (preferably medical gases / gas piping) sector in UK and Europe
  • Experience within the NHS Health Care Estates
  • Experience with flexible metal and PTFE hose
  • Project management or sales management qualifications
