Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Bus Driver Trainee to join our team at First Bus. As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers receive a high level of service.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge of the route.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Have a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to work on a rota/shift basis, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Have great people skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
