Job Title: Property Maintenance Engineer

Join our team as a Property Maintenance Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. As a key member of our Regional Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services to our clients in the Salcombe area.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Property Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing direct and 3rd party maintenance teams to deliver operational excellence at a local level. This will involve ensuring consistent operational standards when it comes to cleanliness, maintenance, service delivery, and guest check-in.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage direct and 3rd party maintenance teams to deliver operational excellence at a local level.
  2. Ensure consistent operational standards when it comes to cleanliness, maintenance, service delivery, and guest check-in.
  3. Build a strong employer/contractor brand locally.
  4. Use data to inform how we deliver and optimise quality, reliability, and cost of service delivery.

Benefits:

  • Working 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a Rota once or twice a month.
  • 25 days holiday.

Requirements:

  1. Dealing with the public and delivering excellent standards of maintenance work.
  2. Understanding of DIY, having ideally been a property repair worker, maintenance technician, or building maintenance technician or similar roles within property repair and maintenance.
  3. Experience of managing and motivating contractors.
  4. Demonstrable experience of making decisions using data to drive change.
  5. A creative approach to operational problem solving, with tangible examples.
  6. The ability to prioritise and deliver a project from beginning to end, irrespective of external factors and pace.
  7. A full, clean driving license is essential, as you'll be expected to visit clients' homes and will need the ability to be present in the offices that you're responsible for on a regular basis.
