About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Academia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding business within a prospective account patch, collaborating with our Account Director team and wider Academia business units to ensure project deadlines are hit and targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and onboard commercial customers, building relationships that put the customer at the core of everything you do.
  • Work closely with the Account Director team to execute agreed account plans and achieve sales targets and performance measures.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to ensure continuous provision of exemplary Academia Service to current and prospective customers.
  • Build relationships with vendor Account Managers to collaborate and win business together.
  • Support aligned Account Director and Sales Support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience within the IT channel.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to support and achieve sales targets and KPI's.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ambition to learn and improve.
  • Comfortable presenting internally and externally.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organised.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proven ability to execute business-developed plans.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and balance workloads.
