We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for selecting and loading equipment from stock, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Gain knowledge of equipment and select it from stock based on scheduled plans, with support from senior drivers and warehouse supervisors.
- Develop skills for handling equipment, including manual handling processes and risk assessments, to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff when preparing equipment, and liaise with Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
- Quality check work prior to transferring equipment to the main warehouse, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Clean returned equipment, maintain a clean and safe warehouse, and perform duties associated with stock maintenance.
- Adhere to policies and procedures related to Infection Prevention and Control, COSHH, Health and Safety, and Manual Handling guidelines.
