We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and management of Mechanical systems on site, ensuring site safety, driving a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices, managing project schedules and costs, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions, providing off-site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required.
  2. Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  3. Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  4. Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and project bid teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  5. Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information, including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.
Requirements:
  1. 3-7 years' experience in Mechanical Services and Design, with a strong technical ability in all aspects.
  2. Desirable experience in Processed Chilled Water, Water Treatment, HVAC, Domestic & LPHW, with a proven track record of coordinating and managing large projects.
  3. Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others, and experience of client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management.
