Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our expanding team at McKinlay Law. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting our Partners and Senior Associates on a wide range of corporate transactional work for both UK and international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to exchanges of information about know-how and workload.
  • Assist with anti-money laundering checks on potential clients, draft engagement letters, and open new files.
  • Support due diligence on corporate/banking transactions, establish and operate online data rooms, order and index relevant documentation, and review and summarize the key terms of such documentation.
  • Assist with drafting and high-level review of transactional documents under supervision.
  • Deal with the incorporation and structuring of new companies.
  • Attend meetings with clients and take detailed notes.
  • Register and file documents at Companies House.
  • Manage commercial contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience as a Corporate Paralegal, confident communication skills, and excellent academics. You will also need to be a team player with a collegiate and dynamic approach to work.

We offer a fantastic opportunity to gain quality experience in a dynamic and progressive law firm. There is a strong possibility that this role will lead to a training contract, as the firm often takes its trainees from its paralegals.
