Interim Finance Director

Your new company is a fast-paced business that has experienced remarkable growth over recent years, with the owner planning to take the business to market. With a large UK office based in East Cheshire and two other offices in Europe, the business boasts an excellent culture, offering a clear opportunity to lead a sale while making a positive impact. As Interim Finance Director, you will be responsible for all financial aspects, supported by a small finance function that will provide you with the necessary numbers and dates. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of all financial responsibilities, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead the finance function, providing strategic guidance and direction.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition and successful sale of the business.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with excellent communication skills, strong project planning, and time management skills. Previous experience in the sale of a business or M&A, ideally within an SME environment, is highly desirable.
