Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our client's growing Corporate and Commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a varied caseload of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, MBOs, and share schemes.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Review and advise on commercial contracts and terms of business, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities to add value to the client experience and improve profitability for the team.
  • Supervise junior members of the team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assist with business development and marketing initiatives, helping to grow the firm's reputation and client base.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including corporate governance and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
