Commercial Gas Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of commercial gas appliances and systems, ensuring they are functioning safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine commercial servicing and maintenance of gas appliances and systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  2. Perform commercial catering assessments, unvented hot water, and water regulations qualifications as required.
  3. Work with a range of commercial sites, including social housing, to ensure gas appliances and systems are safe and efficient.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

  1. Competence in Commercial and Domestic Gas with relevant certifications (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CODNCO1, TPCP1/A, ICPN1, CDGA1, CIGA).
  2. Commercial catering assessments, unvented hot water, and water regulations qualifications would be an advantage.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with experience in Commercial Sites and the Social Housing sector.
  4. A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
  5. Computer and IT literate, with experience using PDAs or similar devices.
