We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our South team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop drainage systems for public, private, and third sector projects
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, including DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Street, MCHW, CDM, and local authority standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver drainage design interfaces, including highways, rail, geotechnical, environmental, and structural
- Prepare reports, specifications, and collect data for progress and technical reports
- Travel within and outside the region as required
- UK experience in drainage design projects
- Relevant qualification in an Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent experience in the UK
- Working towards professional membership/accreditation with an industry-recognized Professional Body
- The legal right to work in the UK
- A full UK driving license
- Working knowledge of hydraulic modeling software, such as Micro Drainage
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D or similar
- Familiarity with 3D design tools and BIM
- Experience in S278, S38, S104, and S106 design and applications
