Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on electrical installation topics, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
  • Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide individualized support to students, fostering their growth and understanding through regular feedback and guidance.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to improve student outcomes.

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to inform teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • A qualified electrician with relevant industry certifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
    • Teaching or training experience (formal or informal).
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse learners.
    • Passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Desirable:
    • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
    • Experience working in further education or vocational training.
    • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital resources.
