Job Title: Finance Assistant Apprentice

Join Orchard Hill College as a Finance Assistant Apprentice and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

About the Role:

As a Finance Assistant Apprentice, you will be an integral part of our Finance team, working closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and auditing
  • Support the Purchase Ledger and Purchase Order Function
  • Contribute to the Expense Function
  • Assist with Asset Management and Reconciliation
  • Support Financial Reporting and Auditing

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (ideally)
  • A -C GCSE grades in English and maths or functional/key skills level 2 and above
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with a range of staff in an office environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the general public
  • Willingness to undertake a full DBS reference check
