Role Overview:
The Production Lead - Timber and Energy Sector will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the manufacturing processes and production lines for a premium selection of timber products.
  • Managing production teams to optimize efficiency and output.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in quality, operational efficiency, supplier value, health and safety, and teamwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams to maintain optimal machinery functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancements in production processes to boost productivity.
  • Providing ongoing performance feedback to the production workforce.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Proven experience in production management within the manufacturing sector.
  • A background in timber products, renewable energy, or construction-related industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S) and relevant health and safety qualifications (IOSH & NEBOSH).
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and IT systems.
  • A proactive, organized, and motivated approach to work.
