Receptionist Opportunity at Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage front office operations, including handling guest requests, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the front office team to achieve excellent customer service and maximize room occupancy.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
