We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team as an Indirect Category Manager at Elysium Healthcare. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organization, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on our procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Indirect Spend: Oversee all indirect spends, including IT and telecommunications, professional services, marketing, vending, fleet management, patient transport, and logistics, totaling approximately £50 million.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and facilitate opportunities for technology innovation and ensure the procurement department is serving internal customers to the best of our ability.
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier and product rationalization and standardization across multiple divisions to identify synergies and drive savings where applicable.
- Contract Management: Review local and national contracts to ensure the right agreements are in place across the company, while being inclusive of SMEs.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Source the best quality equipment, goods, and services at the most competitive price to enable Elysium to operate successfully.
- Tracking Savings and Quality Benefits: Monitor and track savings and quality benefits.
- Reporting and Analysis: Use internal reporting information management tools to analyze and report on procurement activities.
- Project Management: Support the project management of complex procurement activities from initial specification stage to contract award.
- Experience in Sourcing and Category Management: Proven experience in sourcing and category management within indirects.
- Healthcare or Similar Experience: Experience working in healthcare or a similar multi-site setting.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Good negotiation skills and the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of procurement principles.
- Technical Skills: Competent with eProcurement platforms and IT solutions.
- Competitive Salary: An annual salary of £55,000 - £60,000.
