CK Group is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join a prominent chemicals production firm operating within the construction sector. This position is based in a central location and offers a full-time, permanent opportunity.

About the Company:
Our client is a well-regarded chemicals production organization that is in search of a compliance analyst who will oversee regulatory adherence for their European operations.

Position Overview:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in alignment with both UK and international regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with a variety of regulations pertinent to the business, including UK and EU REACH, GB and EU CLP, and PIC.
  • Preparing Poison Centre Notifications Dossiers and ensuring compliance with requirements set by Member States.
  • Conducting risk assessments on currently utilized chemicals to anticipate future regulatory actions or restrictions.
  • Providing guidance to the logistics team regarding compliance with hazardous materials transportation regulations.
  • Overseeing relationships with consulting firms on regulatory issues.
  • Collaborating with Research & Development teams on the regulatory evaluation of new materials or product innovations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance.
  • Alternatively, a Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related field with at least 5 years of pertinent experience in regulatory compliance.
