Position Overview: This is a full-time, permanent role where you will be stationed at one of the client's multiple production facilities, supported by a dedicated team of Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for all matters related to Quality, Food Safety, and Compliance at the facility, ensuring adherence to both customer and third-party standards.
- Oversee the formulation and upkeep of all policies and procedures that constitute the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with both business and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to established procedures designed to uphold product quality, safety, and legality.
- Facilitate the seamless execution of changes and new product introductions.
- Lead the site’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program, participating in risk assessment and control definition prior to the launch of new processes, products, or raw materials.
- Possess prior experience in a similar Quality Management capacity within the food manufacturing or retail sector.
- Have previous accountability for hygiene and pest management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of external standards, including BRC, IFS, and retailer codes of practice.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of food legislation.
- Possess strong planning and organizational capabilities.
- Show flexibility to adapt to business needs.
- Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Working Hours: The role requires availability from Sunday to Thursday, with a competitive salary of £52,000, complemented by benefits such as performance-related bonuses, holiday entitlement, and pension contributions.
