Job Title: Patient Administration Coordinator

Division: Women's, Children's, and Young People's Services

Band: 2

Salary: £22,383 per annum/pro rata

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Administration Coordinator who aligns with our mission to provide the Best of Care by the Best People. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization remains the preferred choice for both patients and staff.

The successful candidate will serve as the initial point of contact for our patients, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively during peak times. A friendly demeanor and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact all scheduled patients to guarantee a smooth appointment process.
  • Update patient demographics in the hospital information systems.
  • Assist pathway coordinators with rescheduling appointments and addressing any capacity challenges.
  • Handle incoming telephone inquiries and take prompt action as needed.
  • Support additional tasks as required.
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned by the Operational Coordinator or Service Managers.
