Export Compliance Manager

Copello is seeking an experienced Export Officer to lead the export team in developing, implementing, and maintaining UK and international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Process UK export licensing applications, including OGELs, OIELs, and SIELs, in a timely manner.
- Interface with UK authorities, such as HMRC, BIS, and ECJU, on licence applications and queries.
- Mentor and coach new and inexperienced team members.
- Oversee internal policies and procedures related to import/export compliance, ITAR, EAR, and Dual Use regulations.
- Support internal and external parties with applications and management of US export authorisations, TAAs, MLAs, and licences.
- Expertise in UK import and export requirements for military products and a good understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused business environment, manage competing priorities, and achieve set objectives and targets.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Assist in government audits of import and export activities.
- Effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
