About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Rowden. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification and Validation Planning: Develop and maintain verification and validation plans, procedures, and cross-reference matrices to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of our systems.
  • Test Execution and Analysis: Plan and execute system, sub-system, and component level verification and validation tests, and conduct analysis to demonstrate the coverage and traceability of requirements to tests and architectural system elements.
  • Test Evidence and Reporting: Generate and collate test evidence and present claims for satisfaction against traced requirements, ensuring that all testing and validation activities are thoroughly documented and reported.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to agree approaches, provide status updates, present evidence and satisfaction arguments, and support system acceptance.
  • Specialist Skills and Tools: Identify specialist skills, tools, and facilities required to execute system verification and validation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge of Verification and Validation Processes: Proven experience in requirements analysis and verification test design, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience in Requirements Analysis and Verification Test Design: Experience in developing and executing V&V plans, procedures, and reports, with a focus on ensuring comprehensive testing and validation of systems.
  • Experience with Defect Raising and Tracking: Experience with defect raising and tracking, with a focus on ensuring that all defects are thoroughly documented and reported.
  • Experience with Production Standard Software-Centric Systems: Experience with production standard software-centric systems, with a focus on ensuring that all systems are thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Design and Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of model-based design and testing methodologies, with a focus on ensuring that all systems are thoroughly tested and validated.
