Housing Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Surveyor to join our client, a leading local authority in Bedfordshire, in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical and complex projects from start to finish, providing a highly professional and competent service.
  • Support senior building surveyors in managing property portfolios and transactions.
  • Conduct inspections of buildings and prepare technical due diligence reports.
  • Carry out building pathology surveys and monitor construction work.
  • Produce reports to clients and engage in face-to-face communication.
  • Travel to appointments around the Bedfordshire area.
  • Deal with Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, and Defect reports.

Requirements:

  • Specialist skills in building surveying, project management, and budgetary control.
  • Ability to communicate and influence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and professional individual with excellent customer service skills.

Salary: £44,500 - £47,900 + mileage.
