Toolroom Technician Opportunity

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is working with a leading manufacturer in Worcester to find a skilled Toolroom Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or engineering and experience working in a toolroom environment. Previous experience with overhead cranes and FLT is desirable, but training can be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Milling, turning, grinding, and bench fitting duties
  • Stripping and assembling dies and trim tools
  • Maintaining die and trim tool conditions
  • Supporting other priorities within the toolroom

The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, plus a 16% shift allowance for afternoon shifts. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.
