About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting. As a key member of our Flood Risk & Drainage team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile regeneration projects and development schemes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning and due diligence purposes
  • Conduct flood studies and provide expert advice to clients in the public and private sectors
  • Collaborate with the Flood Risk & Drainage team to deliver projects in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and development

Requirements
  • Proven experience in flood risk assessment and drainage strategy development, with a strong understanding of the planning system and water industry
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports
  • Good financial control and leadership skills, with experience of mentoring junior staff
  • Knowledge of hydraulic modelling software, including Flood Modeller and Tuflow, and hydrology principles
