Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Flourish Craft Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our café kitchen.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the café kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a dynamic team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet the company's quality and profitability standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen costs, including inventory, labor, and supplies, to ensure the company meets its financial targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a high-end food retail outlet.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, knowledge of kitchen operations, cost control, and quality assurance. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Education: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Behaviours: Passionate about quality food, committed to supporting the well-being of colleagues, and a genuine pride in delivering quality dishes and running an efficient kitchen.
