About the Role

Fleet Education Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Tutor to join our team of experienced educators. As a Primary Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Our learners are situated throughout Peterborough, and we are looking for a tutor who can provide high-quality tuition to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective tuition to learners in their own homes or schools, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
