Are you passionate about science and chemistry? Do you want to work on critical projects that support the Royal Navy's fleet? Our Science and Analytical Chemistry Graduate Programme at Babcock is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative environment.
This two-year programme offers you the chance to work in various scientific departments, rotating through different Laboratory Services and gaining practical experience in a variety of innovative scientific areas. You'll have the opportunity to work on both ships and submarines, developing your laboratory and analytical skills, and enhancing your understanding of radiation and health and safety practices.
Throughout the programme, you'll receive comprehensive training in both the practical and theoretical aspects of chemistry, including in-house training on instruments and methods, with a strong focus on safety. The rotational structure of the programme allows you to experience different facets of laboratory work, from confined space testing to analytical and reactor chemistry.

We're looking for individuals with a BSc (Hons) degree in a Science subject, preferably Chemistry, and a genuine interest in science and chemistry. Many of our early careers roles are subject to Security Clearance and Trade Control restrictions, so you must be able to achieve BPSS and be eligible for Security Clearance.
