Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our client's team in Uckfield. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring maximum service to customers while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning: Execute the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Supply Planning: Review inventory exceptions, minimize stockouts, and reduce obsolete stock.
- Inventory Management: Analyze inventory changes, provide recommendations to achieve stock targets, and reduce overstocks.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency and support the Supply Chain Manager on other projects.
- Master Data Quality: Identify and resolve data gaps in the ERP or forecasting system, and perform periodic audits to ensure stock integrity.
- Analytical Support: Provide monthly reporting, detailed support across the Supply Chain, and develop standard reports/dashboards for the Supply Chain.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in demand planning and supply planning.
- Good understanding of associated Key Performance Indications (KPIs), such as stock, service, and inventory days.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex data, perform root cause analysis, and present data to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines.
- Ideal education to degree level (Maths, Business, or Science) or equivalent.
- Experience with forecast and replenishment systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong collaborative team-working and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with suppliers.
