School Holiday Play and Wellbeing Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic support worker to join our team and provide play activities during school holidays in the form of Play and Wellbeing Camps, Food and Fun Camps, and playschemes to encourage positive wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to provide inclusive support to children with disabilities, additional learning needs, and behaviour to allow them to play in a safe-staffed environment.
- Plan and deliver play activities that promote positive wellbeing and social skills.
- Build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Patient and caring attitude.
- Previous experience in Playwork or working with children and young people.
- Good standard of education to GCSE level coupled with a relevant Level 2 qualification in Playwork, Youth work, Early Years Care, Education, or equivalent.
