Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Wiseworth Canada Industries Inc. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing responsive service to our customers, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of industrial air compressors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers in the BC Lower Mainland region.
  • Perform equipment installations, start-ups, preventive maintenance, diagnostic inspections, and repairs of compressed air equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, and recommending system improvements.
  • Recommend required parts and services to customers and assist with follow-up to ensure customer approval.
  • Travel to customer sites located in the BC Lower Mainland region with occasional travel to surrounding areas.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a Service Technician role or similar is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with comprehension of electrical wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the previous 5 years.
  • Valid Canadian passport with the ability to travel across Canada and the US.
