Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified to join our team at a creative and inclusive Primary School in Ealing. As an Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with various Special Educational Needs, working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Autism in a Primary School setting
  • Assist in managing the classroom environment and creating engaging activities
  • Deliver tailored programmes to pupils using the school's extensive equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a Primary School setting
  • Creative and confident to use your imagination to create fun and exciting activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for supporting those with Special Educational Needs
