The Viewer Insight division is an integral part of the broader Paramount UK Research team, which encompasses Airtime management, Forecasting, and VOD analytics. Viewer Insight plays a crucial role in the Paramount business, where understanding our current and prospective viewers shapes our strategic decisions. This position collaborates across all channels within the portfolio to provide actionable insights that enhance both creative and commercial outcomes. You will serve as the representative voice of the viewer for our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in generating daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for our channels and competitors across various platforms, including linear, BVOD, FAST, and SVOD.
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on the performance of significant shows, including commissioners, marketing teams, and production companies.
  • Address ad hoc business inquiries and requests.
  • Compile comprehensive end-of-program series reports, highlighting actionable insights for our partners.
  • Support the team in scripting, analyzing, and summarizing online survey results.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A strong enthusiasm for content creation and broadcasting.
  • Preferably possess research experience within a media environment.
  • Highly skilled in numerical analysis and capable of interpreting large datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with TV data systems such as Techedge, Snowflake, TV Beat, and Adobe.
  • Experience with dashboard and visualization tools, such as Tableau.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and managing your own workload effectively.
  • Desirable: Experience with statistical research software tools like Q.
  • Desirable: Understanding of qualitative research methodologies.
