Waste Analyst Opportunity

Alfred H Knight is seeking a highly organized and motivated Waste Analyst to join our Energy Services team in Rotherham, UK. As a Waste Analyst, you will be responsible for sorting and weighing various waste streams, including household black bag waste, to provide our clients with accurate and reliable data.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our business. As a Waste Analyst, you will be required to:

  • Sort and weigh waste streams efficiently and accurately
  • Work with the Deputy Sampling & Sample Preparation Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Undertake analytical tasks, including composition analysis and sample preparation, in accordance with our procedures and ISO 17025 requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Strong quality focus and attention to detail
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft and Google applications
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to work away from home for up to a week at a time
  • A full driving license and ability to drive a 3.5-ton van
