Position: Senior Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician

We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented, and committed Senior Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician to become a vital member of our Pharmacy Technical Services Quality Team at the University Hospital of North Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough quality assessments of pre-packaged and over-labeled pharmaceutical products upon completion of the packaging process.
  • Assisting in the management and administration of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Performing both physical and viable environmental assessments of clean room facilities.
  • Counting microbial media following the incubation period.

The selected individual will be required to work weekdays and participate in a weekend rota.

Education and Qualifications

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C (or equivalent, new grading 4) is required, including Mathematics, English, and Science.

OR an equivalent relevant qualification in the specialty area.

Experience

Candidates should have experience working in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and familiarity with computerized systems (Word/Excel).

IT Proficiency

Experience in adhering to standard operating procedures is essential.
