We are on the lookout for a Lead Security Engineering Consultant to join our esteemed Security and Technology Engineering division. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to transformative construction initiatives across various urban landscapes globally.

The AECOM Security & Technology Engineering division is a dedicated team within the Building Engineering sector, offering specialized Security and Technology design and support services that enhance the overall design processes of our engineering teams.

Our Buildings division comprises approximately 400 skilled Engineers who engage in large-scale construction endeavors, focusing on specialized projects in diverse locations. Our portfolio includes significant commercial developments, expansive mixed-use projects, and the restoration of historical structures.

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will deliver high-level technical and strategic security engineering services for new construction and renovation projects, which will include:

  • Assessing Operational & Strategic needs
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of potential threats and their implications to determine risk levels and appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Physical Security Engineering - Creating conceptual, developed, and technical designs for physical security measures such as Vehicle Security Barriers (VSB), Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), security fencing, and fortified entry points.
  • Electronic Security Engineering - Designing comprehensive electronic security systems including surveillance cameras, access control mechanisms, intrusion detection systems, intercoms, and other security technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Security Engineering
  • RSES, CSyP, or PSP certifications with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in business development
  • Relevant academic qualifications in security or engineering disciplines
