Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and maintenance works on commercial sites in Derby.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend and complete planned maintenance and reactive works as scheduled, including breakdowns and repairs.
  • Install and replace air conditioning systems, including retrofits and system replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find on all air conditioning systems, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Produce quotations for works and remedials following service visits, providing clear and concise estimates.
  • Work on a variety of air conditioning systems, including splits, VRFS, AHUs, and DX systems, as well as some central plant equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members as needed, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including FGAS documentation, and update logbooks in client premises.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, providing emergency support when required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • C&G 2079 Category 1 certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • FGAS certification.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety obligations, with regards to maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work out of hours when required, and participate in a scheduled call-out rota.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including Outlook and Word.

Security Clearance:

You will be required to undergo SC clearance to start this role.
