Senior Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at a hi-tech automation solutions employee-owned company. Our company specializes in the manufacture and development of bespoke special-purpose machinery.

The Role

Your role as a Senior Control Systems Engineer will involve designing, coding, commissioning, and testing bespoke automation solutions for our clients' manufacturing and testing needs. You will participate in the complete project life cycle, encompassing PLC/HMI design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

This involvement spans from the initial stages of conception and sales support, through the build and commissioning phases, to installation and ongoing aftermarket support.

Duties as a Senior Control Systems Engineer

  1. Designing, coding, commissioning, and testing bespoke machinery for worldwide clients.
  2. PLC/HMI design and problem-solving throughout the entire life cycle.
  3. System validation including onsite validation and Factory Acceptance Testing.

Skills and Experience as a Senior Control Systems Engineer

  1. Experience in coding PLCs and HMIs from scratch.
  2. Basic electrical knowledge and proven experience.
