Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This role will involve supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and operation of the store.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with experience in leading teams and driving sales growth. They will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a strong team to provide a great customer experience
  • Create an exceptional working environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
  • Forge strong links with the local community and host local events to build brand awareness
  • Manage the store on a day-to-day basis, ensuring consistent delivery of high store standards
  • Recruit, mentor, and train colleagues to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Propel the store and business forward, driving sales growth and meeting KPIs
  • Ensure a clean, swift, and efficient operation, complying with health and safety procedures
Requirements
  • Management experience in a retail environment
  • Food retail experience is preferred, but not essential
