Senior Pricing Manager - Modelling and Development

Ageas Insurance Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Manager - Modelling and Development to join our team. As a key member of our pricing function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of Ageas accounts at various levels, including macro, rating factor, agent, and product levels.
  • Implement agreed rate changes and provide new rates to the Electronic Business team for distribution to software houses and in-house systems.
  • Support Senior Pricing Analysts and Household Technical Pricing Manager as needed.
  • Utilize tools such as SAS, Emblem, and Radar to optimize the standard household portfolio.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in insurance pricing across risk and retail domains.
  • Highly skilled in programming languages and software, including SAS, SQL, and Databricks.
  • Ability to independently build pricing models using the latest advancements in modelling techniques and software.
  • Experience in predictive modelling techniques, such as Logistic Regression, GBMs, Elastic Net GLMs, GAMs, Decision Trees, and Random Forests.
  • Effective coaching of staff and development of pricing skills.
  • Experience in dealing with and influencing colleagues at all levels, including senior management and directors.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
