We are seeking a skilled and experienced Volkswagen Vehicle Technician to join our team at Listers Volkswagen Stratford-upon-Avon.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Volkswagen vehicles, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning systems.
- Work on EV and Hybrid vehicles, utilizing electronic diagnostic equipment to focus on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack, and control systems.
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Understand and implement Customer Satisfaction strategies to positively impact the business.
- Operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Collaborate with other workshop team members to share knowledge and improve skills.
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds with experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
As a minimum, you will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential.
You will require a Full UK Driving license.
