About the Role
The UCL Eastman Dental Institute is seeking an experienced postdoctoral research statistician to join our team in a unique role that combines working on programmes of ophthalmic epidemiological research with a statistical advisory role in clinical ophthalmic research, as well as teaching opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis of large, complex healthcare datasets
- Develop and implement statistical models to inform ophthalmic research and clinical practice
- Provide statistical advisory services to clinicians and researchers
- Teach statistical methods and data analysis to students and researchers
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to design and implement research studies
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced postdoctoral research statistician with a strong background in statistics and epidemiology. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Statistics or equivalent experience, a good level of relevant postdoctoral research experience, and strong programming skills in at least one statistical language (Stata or R). The candidate should also have a strong working knowledge of research methods in statistics and epidemiology, as well as strong statistical analytic skills.
